Safeguarding

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. At St Mary’s, we are committed to child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our pupils. Our policy applies to all staff, governors and volunteers working in the school and we expect all staff members, employed, commissioned or contracted to work with pupils together with volunteers and governors to adhere to it. All visitors will be required to sign in on entry.

Our school is committed to providing an environment in which children and young people feel safe, secure, valued and respected and which promotes their social, physical and moral development. Children in our school feel confident to and know how to approach adults if they are in difficulties.
