This is a reminder that ADHD Embrace will be holding a coffee morning tomorrow, Tuesday 21st October, 9:00-10:00am in our Hub Room. They are an organisation who work with families of ADHD children, however, they are opening up their coffee morning to families who are also awaiting diagnosis or are starting to think their child might have ADHD. Your child does not need a diagnosis to attend this session.  We hope it will be a supportive, relaxed, informative session. ❤️Show racism the red card❤️

On Monday in Collective Worship, we explored what racism is and how we can stand together against racism.

On Friday, we want to join the Nationwide stand against racism with thousands of other schools.

To do this we need your help!  Come to school on Friday wearing full school uniform with a 'flash' or two of something RED to show you stand up to racism.

What accessory will you wear to show racism the red card?

Good morning St Mary's!

We are very grateful for donations we hope to receive this week on the lead up to Harvest.

All items donated will be greatly received and we ask that you do not go out of your way to buy donations – please just re-gift things you have at home that may go to waste otherwise!

Thank you.

Upcoming Events

On Friday 10th July, all children and staff are invited to ‘dress like an artist’ to celebrate all of the wonderful, creative artists of our world.

You could choose a famous artist you would like to be for a day, or dress in what you think an artist would wear. This could range from fashion designers to painters, sculptors to illustrators. If you choose an artist to dress as, this could be someone from history or present day. You could even dress up as a piece of their art work. It’s up to you!

At St Mary’s we believe that art and D&T are incredibly valuable lessons in helping children to develop their problem-solving, fine motor and planning skills, as well as nurturing their creativity and identity.

We are asking for a donation of £1 per child which will go towards our art and D&T budget. Your donation will enable us to continue resourcing art and D&T lessons for your child.

If you have any questions, please speak to your child’s class teacher or Miss Eustace.
