At St Mary’s we elect a new School Council during the first half term of each new school year. This gives one boy and one girl from each class, from Year 1 through to Year 6, the opportunity to join the school council and be a voice for their peers at meetings throughout the school year.
At St Mary’s the purpose of our School Council is:
- To allow the pupils to have a voice
- To help the school and community be a better place
- To help to improve learning in the school
- To raise funds for the school
