Safer Internet Day

Today is Safer Internet Day. We are all having to spend a great deal of time online at the moment, for school, work and entertainment.

Technology is allowing us to stay connected at a time when we cannot be physically together, which is so important for our mental wellbeing. However, it is also important for us as parents, carers and educators, to be aware of the potential  downsides to using technology and to make sure that we are supporting children and young people to use the internet safely. Attached are a couple of guides for parents. One gives information about supporting your child to be safe online and the other suggests ways in which your child can express themselves safely online.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at school if you have any questions or concerns over your child's wellbeing or their use of the internet.
