Chinese New Year!
On Thursday, we welcomed Bei Tian (Alice’s mum) to teach us about Chinese New Year. We learned that each year is given an animal (there are 12 animals which are rotated), the children in Owl Class were born in either the year of the Ox or the Monkey.
Bei also taught us how to create beautiful blossom pictures by blowing ink and the children all had a go at creating their own art work using this process.
